Mount Elden
My place of the heart is Mt. Elden because of the little John Elden’s grave, Fat Mans Loop and the boulders that my friend and I climbed on and almost got lost. The John Elden gravesite is the most special on of them all because I feel sorry for a kid that died at the age of six. He died of gitting shot by a rifle. I also did my very first mountain bike rides there on one of the forest service trails. The reason that I also like Fat Mans Loop is because it was the very first hike I did with my friend/neighbor. One of the more scary things that happened on Mt. Elden was when lightning struck a tree near my street. There’s not a day that goes by for me that I don’t look at Mt. Elden. It is also special to me because I live so close to it. I think it would be cool to get a mountain named after you but not if you had to die for it like John Elden did.
