Hart Prairie
Changing their clothes with the seasons,
White skeletons, silhouetted against a big blue sky,
Whisper secrets in the breeze.
The world spread before me,
Embraced by black-eyed charms
and the music of rustling leaves,
I renew myself,
Sometimes in solitude,
Sometimes in companionship,
Celebrating memories of days gone,
Reaching out for days to come.
