The Museum of Northern Arizona

I like the Museum of Northern Arizona because it has a hike, and it has a museum. It’s woodsy there, and it’s very nice to hike and then cool off in the museum and learn about different things. First, let’s talk about the Rio de Flag hike. I like the hike. It has lots of rocks. It has aspens that drop their leaves and oaks, and it has poison ivy that really itches – you’d better watch out! I never got any of the poison ivy itches, but I did bump into other plants. After the longer hike, we take a short hike that goes to an algae-covered pond. There’s a stream with a waterfall running near it under a bridge. Once we had a picnic lunch, and there were lots of birds at the bird-feeder. Afterwards, we went into the museum. There’s a dinosaur skeleton inside, and at Christmas, they put a Santa cap on it. There are different rooms and two courtyards. There are Native American displays, dinosaur displays, and my favorite part is the kiva room beside a Native American jewelry room. I’ve been there for programs such as Mexican arts, dinosaurs, crafts and concerts, and it’s a nice way to interact with other cultures. I really think you should go there.
